Overview
Ambassador's Clubhouse is a prestigious Punjabi restaurant and bar located at 25 Heddon Street in London's Mayfair. Part of the acclaimed JKS Restaurants group—founded by siblings Jyotin, Karam, and Sunaina Sethi—the venue celebrates rare recipes and culinary traditions from Punjab through food, drink, and music. The restaurant has garnered significant attention, featuring in the Michelin Guide and receiving reviews from prominent food critics including The Guardian. The site previously housed a restaurant that closed during the COVID-19 pandemic, requiring a sensitive refit approach to transform the space into this celebrated dining destination.
Approach
This project required close collaboration with the landlords given the site's history as an existing restaurant that had gone bust during COVID. Acting as Project Managers, we coordinated all aspects of the refit, managing the contractor teams and ensuring operational requirements were seamlessly integrated into the design and construction plans. Our role involved navigating the complexities of transforming a failed venue into a flagship location for one of London's most respected restaurant groups, balancing the landlords' concerns with the client's ambitious vision for a high-end Punjabi dining experience. The successful delivery has resulted in a venue that now attracts reservations months in advance.
